Leading Manufacturing Group is seeking skilled and motivated Apprentice or Certified Welders to join our dynamic team in Vermillion, AB and Battleford, SK. The successful candidates will play a critical role in producing high-quality welded components while adhering to strict safety and quality standards. This position is essential for maintaining the efficiency and excellence of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform welding tasks using appropriate techniques and equipment for various materials and project specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders to determine requirements.
• Ensure compliance with company welding procedures and safety regulations.
• Conduct inspections of welded structures to maintain quality standards.
• Maintain and troubleshoot welding equipment as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and improve workflow efficiency.
• Keep accurate records of work completed and materials used.
• Participate in training and certification programs to enhance skills and comply with industry standards.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Apprentice Welder or Journeyperson Certification.
• Proven experience in welding (for certified welders) or relevant apprenticeship training.
• Proficiency with MIG, TIG, Stick, or other welding techniques.
• Familiarity with metal types, properties, and welding symbols.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of workplace safety practices and protocols.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Employment Details

• Schedule: Shift work Monday to Thursday 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM | Friday to Sunday 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM (on-site).
